Rolling Hardware Store

img-20120814-00003I stopped into my local Hector’s Hardware one day and they were updating their hardware boxes.  They were selling a bunch of the old boxes cheap.

The problem with the boxes is I always needed the one on the bottom.  The solution is to make individual shelves but that would use allot of materials.  I had some leftover aluminum angle that was just wide enough to support the sides of the boxes.  I cut 75 pieces and then drilled two 3/16 in. in each one.

The bottom section encloses 2 automotive hardware cases without the storage trays.

The next project is actually sorting the contents of numerous coffee cans and plastic bins and loading the hardware into the new bins.  Anybody interested in a game of “Name that screw”  lol
